I had a pretty normal childhood and grew up playing sports. After high school, I became involved with the father of my children. A couple of years later, we began using drugs together and eventually he began to be physically and emotionally abusive toward me. To drown out the pain I was in, I began heavily using Methamphetamines. Thankfully, my family quit supporting me financially during this time and it came to a point where I had no choice but to change my life. I lost everything. But God gave me the strength and the push I needed to do something different. Life Challenge introduced Jesus to me in a BIG way and I’ve begun a real and life-changing relationship with Him. Jesus saved my children and I from the dark pit we were in. He has greatly restored my relationship with my family, especially with my children. They all have a new-found respect for me. He has kept us all safe and given each one of us the time and His love for us to heal and be back together the way Jesus intended it to be. I graduated Life Challenge on July 11, 2015 and have been sober for three and a half years. I give God all the glory for all the amazing things that have happened in my life and I am thankful for Life Challenge for being the vessel God chose to use to save my life.
